| Hi, i am new to this forum i hope i can get some answers on the problem i am having. i am creating a web site and i have frames in it. i want 1 scroll bar for the whole interface but it is not allowing me to do so. can anyone help Last edited on Mon Mar 14th, 2005 07:43 pm by asterisk

Welcome to WOW...
Did you know that you could use CSS to do the same thing you are doing with frames? Use of frames is really outdated, and will not give you the best end result in any direction you go.
If you need a template or some help with a CSS based faux frameset, just let me know 
Else, can you post a link to a page if possible - sometimes things are easier to troubleshoot when we see them. It is hard to know what you want by what you have posted.

the question might be why are you using frames to design your web site and can you accomplish your design without using frames?

| hey thanks for replying. i needed to use frames because i wanted the nav bar to be still while to content changes. i didnt want it to take long to load the pages since i had many pictures. anyways, i finished it. you can check it out on http://www.irisesfloral.com. tell me what you think. well, as someone said earlier... Frames is a very bad idea for ecomerce sites.. it would have been much better if you knew PHP, then you would just call up the links from a database into the same page every time...
