I am an Illustrator beginner who is trying to finalise some logo artwork.
The logo consists simply of a line of text and an image created from an empty box with a 3 point stroke outline.
I'd like to be able to increase and decrease the size of the box proportionately using the 'Scale Tool' but when I try to do this the 3 point stroke outline doesn't alter with the rest of the logo (so I end up with smaller text and a smaller logo that still has a thick outline).
How can I change the format of the logo so that it is scaleable as a whole. (I tried rasterising the image but it then looked low res.)

|
in illustrator this is a defect
but in coral draw you have make an option that the outline change proportionally with scalling but in illustrator we mannually selct each line and adjust the thikness.

It is not a "defect" in Illustrator.
In your preferences (File > preferences > General) Tick the box for "Scale Strokes & Effects" the lines will then scale with the rest of the artwork.

|
i am using illustrator 10 and that option is not working
it's scaling with enlarging

If you do not want strokes to scale, UNcheck the box.
If you DO want strokes to scale check the box.
