OS W98. Adobe Photo Deluxe BE 1.0. After clicking the T to add text to a photo, how do I move the text to where I want it?

I clicked the ? for help, but seemed to have missed something. I only managed to move some of the background, from behind the text, leaving the text on in a blank white space.

I understand I may be moving the wrong layer, but don't understand any of the layer business.

How do I move the text to where I want it on the photo?

It is frustrating because I did it months ago with no problem.

i wish i could help.
i use the regular photoshop.

in regular photoshop...you need to make sure the layers palette is open.
select the layer that has the text on it...make sure you have the 'move' tool selected.
then simply move the layer.
[the move tool is the arrow icon]

:)
