Every time I open a new document in Photoshop 7, it has the little gray "01" box up in the corner of the document as though I've selected the Slice tool.

The Move tool is selected when I open Photoshop, and I click nothing before opening a new document. I don’t know what’s happing can anyone tell me a site like this Web Design Company which is the professional site, I am also tried restarting Photoshop, and also restarting my entire computer...but it is still happening.

How can I make the little gray box go away?
