Okay I bought a Template from a Clan site, downloaded the template , unzipped it everything is fine.
I have adobe photoshop and Dreamweaver to edit everything
Okay soon as I edit the psd file in adobe photoshop I goto save as web based, and was told im supposed to select images only and click the slices u want altered.
Problem 1. It wont let me select any slices, to me it seems the whole page is a slice, I click the slice to select slices and even with show slices turned on I dont see any and it wont select any.
Then I was told to save the psd file into my html folder, and it will come up with an overwrite box asking for confirmation, it never does this either, just saves a template file in the corresponding folder.
Im stumped any help is Appreciated.

Ok, I can help. To slice the image, I use Adobe Image Ready. If you open the PSD in photoshop and click the Edit in ImageReady button at the bottom of the like item bar (with all the things like paint select and junk) One it opens in IR you just select the slice tool. Slice what images you want to be different files then go back to photoshop. Go to save for web. The just do what your told to do
