Hi Guys,
Im doing a site and flash and have done all my buttons which are in text format, however when clicked on u have to put the cursor precisly on the text?? How do I create a hotspot for it (like an invisible square box) so wherever u rollerover it will click,
Hope this makes sense...
(I was thinking of creating a separate later with an alpha of 0 so its invisible but there must be a better way of doing it.)

Creating an invisible button in flash,
1. Create a small square using your rectangle tool.
2. Select that square and make it btn. Then double click on the square to edit the btn.
3. Highlight the square in your "Up" state, and drag it to your "Hit" state.
4. Now go back to your movie scene and you should notice that the square button you created has a light teal highlight to it. (There's your invisible button).
At this point, just delete from your movie, and just re-use it from your Library whenever you need it (such as placing the button over text).

No the photo is just a stock image. An image I thought was creative with my tag line "Think Image". ..... It's just an Ad.

| doubleclick on the button, create a square behind the text, and make it transparent.

hi, fellas!
the way that Danijel suggest can be used in flash MX and 5... on the other hand, Mlocke's solution is much easier but it only works on flash MX
