I want to create a download section that is not accesible from outside but through a php script...
The url for the downloadfolder would look something like this:
asdf.com/downloads
So thats where all the files are stored.... users should not be able to type in the adress and get there.
Then i want a php-script say asdf.com/getit.php to have acces to that directory to send files from there per mail.
What i found so far is to make apache change the user. But i can i do that on a shared webhosting server? I don't think so.
Or is there another way to do that? how do all the other pages handle this security problem.
