I have created a doprdown menu in fireworks to incoporate in dreamweaver. The menu works fine. My problem is that the drop down menu appears behind the images that are just below it. How can I get the menu to appear on top of all other images? Thanks in advance for your help!

the z-index of the menu must be set higher than any of the images.
this is done using the z-index attribute of the style object for both.
for example:

<IMG SRC="cone.jpg" STYLE="position:absolute;
    top:100px; left:100px; z-index:4">
