NetObjects Fusion 7 is an impressive WYSIWYG web authoring tool designed from the ground up for people who have virtually no knowledge or experience of web design. The program consists of six major sections (called views) that can be conveniently accessed from a simple, uncluttered toolbar. The first view is called services where you can add a counter to your site, check for broken links, etc. This is actually a web-based subscription service. The second view is site view, which provides an overview of the structure of your site, and lets you easily move pages with your mouse. The third view is called page view and as the name suggests, it is the core of the program where you can edit the contents of your page. No knowledge of HTML is necessary. You can directly import Word files, place pictures, text or links anywhere you want: Thanks to the liberal use of DHTML creating pixel-precise layouts is a snap. In the fourth view, you can select a ready-made style for your site. The remaining assets and publish views don't really need much explanation: Assets display all the files you place in your site, and Publish is used for setting the site publishing options.
