Review:
TransType is an advanced font conversion utility that can be used to convert PC TrueType and Type 1 fonts to the Mac format or vice versa. TransType automatically creates Mac font suitcases (a container file that has information about a family of fonts), but lets you edit suitcase structures if you wish. The most important feature of TransType is the amount of control it gives you on font encodings. Since Mac and PC use different types of encodings, you may need to manually change source and destination encoding settings. TransType uses an intuitive two-pane interface and as other FontLab products, comes with excellent documentation.
