Want to get rid of those ugly JPEG artifacts or clear digital camera pictures fast? DCEnhancer (aka Digital Camera Enhancer) is a handy free tool that gets the job done, and it takes less than a minute to learn how to use it. Although its color balancing controls are not as sophisticated as high-end image editing applications' offerings, DCEnhancer produces quite good results without any hassle. Web designers will find its de-noiser feature extremely valuable to clean JPEG artifacts, and others will enjoy its robust almost automatic color balance controls.

I have a digital camera (a Canon powershot s100, excellent pictures but it tends to take a little dark-color balance shots)and I have tried a myriad of photo retouching and image improving tools (photoshop elements, pphotogenetics, etc..) and i'm convinced that this is the *very* best image-improving, by much, even when the camera didnt fire the flash when it was supposed to, and best of all its free, I rate it 10 of 10!!! it definitively deserves a try.
