Review:
EditPlus is a feature-rich text editor geared towards programmers and web developers. TextPad users will find EditPlus very easy to get into since most of its features seem to be derived from TextPad. EditPlus supports multiple undo/redo and a powerful search & replace feature with regular expressions. It also supports syntax highlighting for HTML, PHP, ASP, Perl, C/C++, and Java. You can define your custom syntax highlighting rules too. EditPlus has a simple built-in FTP client and can preview HTML documents inside the editor. We particularly liked the top ruler, which visually shows the current column position. There is also an HTML toolbar to quickly insert HTML tags into your document. The spell checker must be downloaded separately, and there is only one choice (English) whereas TextPad has dictionaries in 10 different languages. We found that EditPlus' spell checker is more picky than TextPad's. For instance it doesn't like compound words such as "EditPlus" while TextPad simply ignores them. Overall, EditPlus is a powerful editor which should please most demanding users out there however some users might find its interface a bit messy.

EXCELLENT! I love this program, and it is the best 30 USA dollars I have ever spent. I especially like how you can FTP from it. (Very Easy)

Very good to use. Easy on features, and fast loading. Allows you to have different fonts and sizes, and colors.
