Macromedia HomeSite (previously developed by Allaire) is an acclaimed text-based HTML editor that supports both local and remote file editing, hierarchical display of page elements, code templates, version source control for team development, conversion of Word and Excel files into HTML, and enhanced search & replace with regular expressions. HomeSite also features CodeSweeper to enforce code formatting with customizable rules, wizards to speed up repetitive tasks, site management tools and user macros.

hmm .. homesite

I started creating websites in dreamweaver but did my eyes popped when I discovered homesite !!
it's the best html-editor I know
it completes your tags

handy help on your properties

nice and good sitemap-overview

and so on
so get rid of your wysiwyg and start building your sites in homesite
