Byte - Glossary

Byte
    Combination of 8 bits. A byte can hold 256 different values (28). A KByte is 1024 bytes (or 210 bytes), and a MByte is 1024 x 1024 bytes = 1,048,576 bytes (220). When converting bytes to bits just multiply the value with 8.
