Bit
    The smallest unit of data in computing that holds a value of either 0 or 1. A Kbit is 1024 bits (or 210 bits), and a Mbit is 1024 x 1024 bits = 1,048,576 bits (220). When converting bits to bytes just divide the value by 8 (a byte is made up of 8 bits).
