Our comments: Attractive design makes use of warm colors, subtle gradients, elegant headlines, multi-column text, and beautiful animated header graphics.
I didn't mind the splash screen. It was a little heavy on the load time. When I came onto the main page and it tells me "welcome back, you have been missed". There is just something not right with that statement if its your first time to that site.
As for attractive use of colors. I did like the warm background, and the subtle gradients. Layout stayed pretty well structured. So I didn't get lost in the site. Then again I didn't really want to stay for very long either.
The first thing I notice about this site, is it has a "Flash Splash" - a splash screen created entirely of Flash - which says to me "We're all about image; not content". The download is heavy on my modem and the status percentage is hardly readable on the count of it being so small.
So, I skipped it. The main page put me off - a lot. "Welcome back, you have been missed" greeted me. What? When was I ever there before?
And then there's that tacky photo of a family "enjoying" a day out in the sun. Blah. At the top is the Flash navigation bar. Why? DHTML, people.
The "Script" font is hardly original and the graphics are of very low quality.
