The web site of Cirque du Soleil successfully captures the mystique of the world renowned shows, and this is certainly no small feat since the name Cirque du Soleil is closely associated with amazing acrobatic performances, splendid visual designs and wonderful new age music in many people's minds. The site design incorporates all three: Flash loading screens feature smooth animations of acrobatics, incredibly colorful yet still subtle backgrounds speak for themselves, and the soundtrack consists of very nice albeit repetitive ambient sound loops (repetitiveness can be forgiven given the nature of the web). The interface may get confusing at times since the main menu is not visible in some sections. Other than that, the navigation system usually works as expected.

But a this site's underpages layout changes a lot during the different links clicked. This to "me" is a dislike. But it depends on the design if it changes really. (thats is my opinion again) But sometimes the contents and information is whats most important. Despite the dislikes.. there are some fascinating and msyterious designs.
