Designer's words:
Ehrlich Distribution is a wholly owned subsidiary of J.C. Ehrlich Pest Control in Reading Pennsylvania. Ehrlich Distribution retails pesticides as well as vegetation products for businesses and landscape professionals. Ehrlich came to us desiring a major facelift from their previous site.

Heavy use of photography and bright vivid colors help add to the success of this site. Pictures of insects walking through out the pages adds a playful approach to these creatures which are typically despised by those whose homes they inhabit. Flowers and other forms of vegetation are also apparent through out.

Our comments:
This refreshing design for a pesticide distribution company is almost entirely based on two hues: orange and green. The page layout is classic main menu at the top - sub menu at the side. However, there are two things that break the status quo: 1. The top menu bar design works very well as a part of the honeycomb cells 2. Careful selection and placement of insect and plant images not only put things in context but make the layout look more coherent.

First, it is intuitive what the company is all about without reading anything. Second, the site nicely using photos to enhance it's messaging in each section. My eyes do get a little lost in the center / bottom of the home page however.
