Pixelranger is the on-line portfolio of Shane Mielke who works as an art director at 2advanced Studios. The site design is reminiscent of 2advanced's own web site design, but unlike that design's cold urban look and monochrome color scheme, Pixelranger has a strong nature theme based on plenty of color photos. Also worth mentioning is the two-level 3D wireframe effect preceding the appearance of certain key images. This effect, although not very precise, clearly puts things in focus by giving you a better understanding of the curvature of real-life objects that are presented in flat 2D. 100% Flash.
