Elegant design built with a fresh, intuitive interface, and supported with delightfully delicate imagery. Color-coded sections and alternative navigation for project items are also worth mentioning. 100% Flash.

Freshness! wwdmike (6) - Aug 30th, 2002 Very, very spiffy and elegant indeed. There are a lot of things I like about this website. One thing is that when you come to the page for the first time, immediately you see what the point of the site is. There are so many sites out there that leave you guessing as to what they are all about until 4 or 5 clicks in! Overall though, the best thing I like about this site (and specifically because it is a designer's portfolio site) is the very subtle but strong feel/tone of it. In that way, the site clearly communicates the skill and artistry of the designer, without shoving it in your face. The site *shows* you professionalism, it doesn't scream it at you. If there was anything that I could say I didn't like, it would be the small font size. But it seems like that is a lost cause with modern designers these days. Especially, for some reason, designers in Europe. Anyways, no offense intended. :) Generally I'm not a fan of 100% Flash websites, but I think this site works really well. Hopefully in the future, browsers will advance more to support animation or Flash features so that they can be integrated more closely with browser functions.
