Designer's words:
I wanted retro but also modern. It's a litlte 50's, a little 70's and little now. Wanting a Flash look, but not with Flash, I chose to make the menu is all animated gifs and javascript rollovers.

I do all my work in Photoshop and Dreamweaver almost exclusively.

Our comments:
Elegant design featuring wonderful 60s style illustrations complete with hard shadows and low-tech motion blur effects. Excellent font and color selection compatible with the theme. Animated GIFs are used not only to draw attention to the menu but to create an interesting visual effect which looks like randomly occurring.

I personally like the style but unfortunately, i did not like pop-ups.
