Our comments: Secure cascading style sheets?! Well, there is no such thing (yet). As a matter of fact, CSS Total Security is a UK based "real-world" security company whose web site consists of a "virtual room". The elaborately detailed full screen, vector-based interface features various hot spots that represent the products of the company. A simple animation and a balloon tip are displayed when you mouse-over one. Unfortunately, when you click on a hot spot, you will be presented with a new browser window that has rather dull looking information in it. While you can open multiple windows, the ones you opened before cannot be accessed without using the Windows task manager or exiting the room. A 100% Flash based solution with multiple overlapping windows could greatly improve the usability and reinforce the visual appeal.
I love the CSS web site. It shows imagination that few sites do, is beautifully designed and so easy to navigate. I agree that the pop ups are a little bland in comparison to the main page, but there is so much that can be done to the site to keep it looking fresh. (especially with Flash 6!!!)
The textures are fabulous and I would love to know how they are achieved, but more importantly, as this is quite a bold site for a security company, I wonder if it has worked for CSS?? When I wanted to show the site to a colleague I had no problem finding css on the search engines which I thought would be the issue with a Flash site like this.
creative designs. It really gives a natural feeling for people to search the things they want but do not make it too invisible for them to find. I don't really favour the enter button on the main page. The main page is also quite normal. Try to make the main page more original, try changing the fonts to Tahoma, size 8.5. Not reallly feasible colour management.
