Our comments: "Yeah, it's just lettering. It's just the visual representation of every audible clue and every line of dialogue in your book." writes Nate Piekos on blambot.com in support of comic lettering. Blambot has high-quality free and low-cost comic fonts available for download. The Blambot team also offers design services centered around comic lettering.
The site design is very refreshing especially after seeing hundreds of sites that feature itsy-bitsy pixel fonts, ugly drop shadows, and third-class photo manipulations presented as "artwork". The main menu on the top is in the shape of connected comic balloons, and is a perfect choice for the visual representation of the navigation system. The outline comic font previews and the Blambot logo look absolutely fabulous, not to mention the complementary hand-drawn artwork. Those who want to create their own comics will find the basic advice offered on the site valuable as well.
