Our comments:
Philweavers defines itself as "the Philippines' non-governmental and non-political representative and advisory body for web design and webcentric visual communication.", and one of the two co-founders is Drew Europeo who is also behind Halfproject, which serves a similar purpose.

The homepage design is unconventional in terms of page layout: a vertical menu column divides the page into two, and a horizontal menu bar along with the site logo covers the top right of the page while the left part is devoted to graphical links to member sites. Custom dither patterns applied to images and even shadows coupled with pleasing use of contrasting text colors gives the design a clean look. Unfortunately the subpages are not up to the par of the homepage.
