Rustboy is a promising short movie by Brian Taylor, which is currently in production. Rustboy's web site has a simple, intuitive interface that perfectly complements the breathtaking artwork of Taylor. We can't even complain about the tiny pixel font -- it looks as if it is created just for Rustboy, the adorable hero of the movie. 100% Flash.

Iceblade is ofcourse an idiot. This site was made in 2001. That is pre-CSS/Div etc.
But don't let your ignorance get in the way of your amusingly pathetic hate-post. Do let us know what worthwhile things you have created, though.

Anyway, the guy won numerous awards, Rustboy easily stands the test of time and remains an amazing creation.

1. You've used flash... That sucks cause everyone with a browser should be able to see a website without needing to download lots of plugins. You could have used PHP and HTML and get the exact same result.

2. You don't use CSS.

3. You use tables when you should use divs.

4. Your site wont work in Firefox.

5. !DOCTYPE is missing!

6. You shouldn't use capitalized letters when you code. For example; You should write <HTML> instead of <html>.

7. You're using invalid html attributes in your tags.

8. You are using JavaScript.

This is awesome. If you haven't been to this site...you should definently hop all over this one! The graphics are amazing, the way it all fits together is just magical. A truely great work of art, and a step forward in graphic design.

Okay das Design spricht mich nicht unbedingt an- aber das hier ist eine sehr schöne Seite. Das Design und alles drum und dran muss ja nicht ablenken von dem, um das es hier geht: Die tollen Filme dieses Designers! Ich finde sie extrem gelungen- ich werd sowas bis zum Ende meines Lebens nicht hinbekommen! Dick.

A normal average site. But i must say that normal and easy sites are usually the best for user portfolios or project presentations online. I must add, besides the site, the creator of the animations are a talented designer. Very creative.

This is an amazing web site! It is very simple with a complex feeling. The graphics are out of this world and the textures are so realistic. He reminds me of Tim Burton, and Tim Burton is my idol.

This site is so impressive, I don't think i've ever seen a better site on the internet.

The movies and graphics that Brian Taylor has created are incredible and the fact that he's got sections dedicated to how he creates it really helps beginners!

Could I give the graphic design an 11? Granted the graphics are for a movie and not specifically for the web, they are excellent nevertheless.

Simple navigation, there's really not much to the actual layout.
My only complaints are the 3 pics on the left side look like they should be buttons, but they aren't. And tiny font is practically never excusable. It really isn't.

Rustboy is great though.

Yet another site who falls victim to the unadjustable text size. The lower panel navigation aspects for the Diary, Movies, Making Of, Concept Art and Storyboard sections are quite pleasing to use, and make shifting between aspects easy. Its just too damn hard to read!

It's a pitty that the creator of this site didn't do more with the main theme of this site. That is why the graphics are above average, but the rest below.
