Our comments: digitalart.org showcases thousands of digital artwork created by artists from all over the world. The interface, rendered in grayscale and clean of clutter, is almost transparent so one can easily concentrate on the meat of the site. We also liked the outlined headings that have subtle gradients inside, and the curved table frames on the front page.
A unique feature of digitalart.org is the way it displays thumbnails: when you move the mouse cursor over the title of particular artwork, its thumbnail appears on a floating DHTML layer. This is great not only for users on slow connections but also for preserving bandwidth. It would be nice if one can choose between the current thumbnail viewer and regular thumbnails in the future though.
