Our comments:
The PC Magazine web site has seen many design changes since its inception, but as far as we know the three column (menu - content - extra) page layout has always been around. The interface is almost transparent to the user in this redesign thanks to the subtle color scheme and tables without borders. The choice of using purple for link colors might be questionable though since purple is the default visited link color.
