bluehaus loft is "an investigation into the vision of ones mind's eye" says Ryan Mayer, the designer of bluehaus loft. Navigation is simple yet interesting: click one of the dots placed on delicate wires to watch short Flash movies, which are presumably about Mayer's experiences. If you like the concept behind bluehaus loft, have a look at Typographic too.

It has an almost independent visual culture that works well with what I see as its intentions which is to say something meaningful. Its integrity is found in the way it has created its own little universe right there on my monitor. In terms of its design, it is far beyond what I see out there (and find myself having to work against constantly). It does not look like a printed ad adpated to the computer screen. It does not look like one more cube of photoshop layering, It does not look like a QuickTime movie trailer. It does not look like a cartoon.
