Our comments:
The personal site of Ling from Singapore not only has abundant information about her but it has a warm, compelling style. There are four unconventional but definitely not unpleasant design elements:

1. The menu is divided into two: half of it is on the left and the other half is on the right of the page contents.
   
2. The non-rectangular text area is seamlessly integrated to the overall design (for a similar use see Digital Perception.
   
3. No back button. Use Right click > Back instead.
   
4. Links are shown as extensions. For example you must click on the red .html extension of (wish list.html) to see that page.
