Designer's words: In terms of web design, I am completely self-taught (as I suspect are most others). My objective with our current site design was to design a website that was attractive, bright, professional and clean. The format of the interface design allows for completely different 'looks' and menu/graphic styles in the main content area, which can be noticed especially in the individual game pages, this was another goal starting out. (our old site was more restrictive in terms of how each page had to look)
Being a game company I wanted the ability to present different 'looks' for the different game pages, while still keeping it all wrapped up in a clean, easy to use interface. The top menu interface is somewhat unique...I wanted to avoid the usual left-side menu and this was a great solution which fitted in with our other needs. As the sites' graphic designer, as well as the webmaster, I like having the freedom to experiment with different graphical approaches the open design allows. Even though we are a game company, we wanted to present a clean, bright and professional image, and I think the site accomplishes that.
Our comments: Easy-to-use design allows reaching all sections from the top menu bar with a single click no matter where you are on the site. Graphics-wise the front page collage is attractive however sub pages may benefit from a little make up.
