Empire Earth is an epic real-time strategy game spanning 500,000 years of human history and it's the latest edition from Rick Goodman, lead designer of Age of Empires. Without any doubt, this product demanded a strong Web presence and a design that would capture the true spirit of a game spanning such an impressive timeline. The site is deep in terms of graphics and information. Extensive details are devoted to earth history, epochs and the various units used throughout the game. Further, there is an extensive selection of screenshots and an incredible movie trailer that together make up a great Web site devoted to what is destined to be an even greater game!

Our comments:
The official web site of Empire Earth, an ambitious real-time strategy game from Stainless Steel Studios and Sierra has a graphic intensive design supported with random-images that depict the incredibly long time span the game covers. Game art, particularly the unit designs are used liberally through the site, and they are instrumental in capturing attention though the design can benefit from brief historical descriptions displayed below unit images.
