Our comments:
This on-line education site features three additional designs for different age groups that require registration in addition to the main design. The main design uses warm colors and elegant curves to establish a friendly identity for the site. There are also delicate grid lines displayed from different perspectives to give an impression of depth.

I usually don't care for yellow, but this design looks good with it. The blue and red header make the yellow fit in.

+ excellent site content for target audience
+ good transparent navigation
+ aimed well at target audience

- dated design
- quality of quite a few graphics leaves much to be desired
- questionable color combinations
- functionality is possibly appealing to kids, design is certainly not

The best online education site for K-12 students. This site contains hundreds of interactive flash tutorials with great graphics, audio and animation. Curriculum based material is divided into small bite-size contents. Currently K-12 math is available. There is an online gallery for students to display their work. There is also homework help. A neat site. Most of the site is available free for those who register. Premium access for a small fee allows students to take quizzes and tests, and track their portfolio.
