Our comments: Dubit is an on-line community for young adults to meet and share their interests in live chats. Dubit, unlike Habbo Hotel, a similar chat web site, uses vector graphics to create its isometric environments. Since vectors can be easily scaled without loss of detail, Dubit can nicely fit to any-size browser window. However Dubit's vector graphics, although high quality, looks blurred and pale even in high resolutions as large as 1280x1024. You need to use the Flash player's built-in zoom function to see the real level of detail.
Habbo Hotel restricts you to a hotel (hence the name), and walking from one room to another is not always possible; you must use the "Hotel Navigator" menu to go to a particular room. In Dubit however you can freely wander around Dubit city. There is even a real-time daylight setting. Animations are also smoother as compared to Habbo.
In the final analysis, Dubit is an impressive on-line chat environment that deserves a lot of attention however it lacks the warm atmosphere of Habbo mainly because of its relatively flat vector graphics with little lighting effects, and gloomy color scheme.
100% Flash.

I think dubit is a great chat site. The only problems I found were, navigating rooms, glitches when moving, and the rooms were too small. Overall it's a great site to chat.

If you have grown up on habbo hotel DON'T GO HERE. The graphics are ok but it is really hard to see..and no one is ever on it. I couldn't find anyone to chat with but it worked really well. It was a bit faster than habbo but the quality wasn't as good....and I got lost really fast. I also had to zoom in to see who I was...so Aol people (it doesn't work to well on aol).

Well.. It's an awesome chat.. but would be way better if it was readable I had to set my computer to 1280 by 1024 just to read it.
I don't really like the characters that you chat with and some of the graphics and things don't look so great together.

I couldn't read the status thing. Alot of the text was unreadable. Other than that, cool.

i think that this site takes all the bad points of a city and combines them. the graphics aren't very good, they could do better.
