About:
I started in the creative world about five years ago as Editor-In-Chief of my college newspaper. Three months later, I landed my first post-college job building websites and making coffee for a small design firm in Pasadena.
I left after about six months, started freelancing, worked at JPL for about five months as a documentation specialist, and acquired my first website contract for $400.
Shortly thereafter, I started a company, dreamingmonkey, and moved to West LA to go to grad school at UCLA. Seven months later, Media Temple made me an offer, and I took a leave of absence from UCLA, and became the Creative Director at Media Temple. Media Temple provided invaluable experience in project management, and allowed me a constant clientele to improve and expand my creative abilities.
I left Media Temple on Sept. 10th, 2001 (a day I will never forget), and began freelancing again.
