Nate Piekos graduated from Rhode Island College in 1998 and instead of putting his graphic design degree to good use, he spent all his time playing guitar and drawing comics. He soon realized good affordable comic fonts were hard to find, so he created a few to use in his indie book, THE WHOLE ENCHILADA. On a whim, he put them online and KAPOW!!! Blambot Comic Fonts suddnly existed. Since then, Nate has become type designer to Harvey Award Winner, Mike "Madman" Allred, as well as having his designs licensed by such large and intimidating companies as Microsft, Sierra and The Gap. Nate lives in the Blambot home office which he suspects is actually located inside a house where he thinks his wife also resides. There may be some fish tanks in there too.
