About:
I'm currently 21 years of age, and residing in Houston, Texas, where I grew up. I've also spent time in the cities of Minneapolis and Toronto. I graduated high school in 1998 with three and a half years of French, two years of art, and a year of theatre under my belt, in addition to the regular classes. I received high marks through my entire student career, though I never particularly enjoyed it. I hope to be able to attend University one day when I have found somewhere that I would like to attend and can afford to do so — preferably in Canada or Europe.
The majority of my time is occupied by working, though when I do venture out, I enjoy activities such as taking pictures, going for walks, playing pool, going to theatres, shopping in open-air markets, exploring museums and art galleries, and visiting large bodies of water. I also read occasionally, but I generally prefer non-fiction and books with a social or political message instead of purely fantasy and fiction.
Music is a major part of my life, and has a large influence on my mood and creations. In the past I have played the viola, trumpet, and some piano. I listen to almost all kinds of music, but I have a particular affinity for rock, classical, and electronic flavours. I enjoy live concerts and performances.
I love to travel, be it by boat, plane, train or car. I hope to one day be able to visit the places where the artists I admire studied and worked, and find the things that inspired them, so that they may inspire me as well. I am extremely devoted to my art as a person, and fully intend to be creating it for the remainder of my life.
