About:
I could try to make cabedge look like a big company, with a big staff of people running around, answering phones, making coffee, and thinking really hard about "all things internet." But the fact is, it's just me, Chris Blanz. No staff here, I'm the one running around, answering phones (and e-mail), making coffee, and thinking about "all things internet". But it doesn't stop there, web design is only one of the areas where I spend my time. Other "digital domains" like CD-ROM, screensavers, and interactive presentations get a good deal of thought too. In addition to the interactive side of cabedge, there's also old-school print design.
Over the years, I've done work for companies like Aladdin Industries, Belmont University, Broadcast Music Incorporated (BMI), Bridgestone/Firestone, The Buntin Group, Comdata Corporation, Cracker Barrel, Dollar General, Dye Van Mol & Lawrence, First American National Bank, First Media, Gaylord Entertainment, Journal Communications, Kroger, LEGO, MagneTek, Martha White, Nashville Advertising Federation, Nashville Convention and Visitors Bureau, The Nashville Predators, National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), The Opryland Hotel, Saturn Corporation, Service Merchandise, Saint Thomas Health Services, Shoney's, State of Tennessee, Steppenwolf, The Tennessean, Vanderbilt University, and Wildhorse Saloon (to name a few).
I have experience creating campaigns that push messages and get results for companies. What it all boils down to is the message. You've got a message you want people to hear, I can help. What are you trying to say? Who are you trying to get to hear that message? And what do you want them to do once they have it? Brand integrity is also important to your message. If your brand already has a strong presence in your market, you won't be pushed into any drastic changes just so I can stroke my own ego and add to my portfolio. We'll work together to strategize new ways of enhancing what you already have. On the other hand, if the brand is weak or nonexistent, I can help there too. The magic word is "results".
